Conveniently located to serve residents in Sussex County, Cancer Support Community is located on the Beebe Health Campus (Rt. 24) in the Medical Arts Building. There is ample parking available and the facility is handicapped accessible. Our office suite is bright and welcoming with all the comforts of home. Visit our library for up-to-date resources; relax in our Mind/Body Center; or join us for a cup of tea and cookies in our kitchen. We’re always glad to see you!

Wings Of Hope

The 8th Annual Wings of Hope … A Butterfly Release to benefit the Cancer Support Community Delaware will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 10 am until 1 pm at the Medical Arts Building Grounds, 18947 John Williams Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The event is highlighted by the release of Monarch butterflies in recognition of family, friends and neighbors throughout Sussex County whose lives have been impacted by cancer. This free, community-wide event for all ages also includes an amazing display of thousands of paper butterflies, live music from local musicians, activities for kids and, of course, a variety of vendors and refreshment offerings. Join us for the return of the very popular Pink Affair. New and very gently used ladies' fashion accessories are the hit of the day. All the models are cancer survivors. This event usually sells out within two days, so make sure to mark your calendar!


Fitness 20/20/20
Mondays at 10:30am
Make the most our of your time! Join 20/20/20 Fitness and include three workouts in one. This class, instructed by Stacy LaMotta of Healthy Renovations, will offer 20 minute intervals of Zumba Fitness, Strength and Core and Yoga Stretch. This class alternates with Zumba - only sessions. Check the Sussex Calendar for schedule. All levels are welcome!

Look Good...Feel Better
Third Monday of the month at 1pm (January, March, May, July, September, November) and at 5pm (February, April, June, August, October, December)
This program which is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, NC and CFTA Foundation, teaches skin care and hair care techniques for women undergoing cancer treatment.

Meditation for Relaxation
First and Third Thursday of the month at 5pm
Clare Wilson invites you to experience the health benefits of meditation and how it reduces stress and enhances breathing, focus and relaxation.

Stiff Men's Yoga
Thursdays at 3:30pm
For any guy who wants to increase his energy and mobility. Taught by Reber Whitner.

T'ai Chi
Thursdays at 12 Noon
Integrate mind, body and spirit using techniques developed by the ancient Chinese. You feel revitalized by T'ai Chi's relaxing, rhythmic movements. Classes are open only to people currently undergoing treatment for cancer and their family members and individuals two years out of treatment or less.

The New You!
First and Third Wednesday of the month at 5 pm
Join our survivors support group which meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5 pm. The New You! is faciliatated by Clare Wilson and addresses the ongoing needs of cancer survivors. This group is sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece Foundation.

The Next Step
First Monday of the month at 9:00am
Our monthly bereavement group focuses on issues of loss that continue beyond the early stages of grief. Facilitated by Midge DiNatale of Delaware Hospice.

Wednesdays at 12:00pm
Increase your flexibility and strength, reduce stress, and enhance relaxation using gentle Yoga techniques. This is a perfect class for beginners! Classes are open only to people currently undergoing treatment for cancer and their family members and individuals two years out of treatment or less.
