Sussex Survive & Thrive Walk to Celebrate Cancer Survivors - May 14, 2016|
Cape Henlopen State Park & Rehoboth Beach, DE
On Saturday, May 14th we actually had sunshine and many happy feet as friends of the Cancer Support Community laced up their sneakers for the Sussex Survive & Thrive Walk 2016. It was a beautiful morning to walk through Cape Henlopen State Park and down the iconic Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk while raising funds for the Cancer Support Community here in Sussex County. Special thanks to the Forgotten Mile Ale House for hosting our after walk party and to WRDE, Applebee's, Kendall Furniture, Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge, Lewes Automall, Quality Inn & Suites, Realtor Nitan Soni, and the Jolly Trolley for their support. Last, but not least, thank you to our volunteers and walkers that came together for a few brief hours but whose fundraising efforts will bring a lasting impact to cancer survivors and their families. Together we walked and together we will make a difference.
