There is ample parking available and the facility is handicapped accessible. Our office suite is bright and welcoming with all the comforts of home. Visit our library for up-to-date resources; relax in our Mind/Body Center; or join us for a cup of tea and cookies in our kitchen. We’re always glad to see you!

Strides for Hope

Please join our Strides for Hope Team for 2013 as you raise funds and awareness for Cancer Support Community Delaware in San Francisco in September. You will commit to raising funds for our organization to help support free programs for people diagnosed with cancer. All funds raised in Delaware stay in Delaware!
We will supply for you the following:
Airfare to California, Hotel Rooms, Race Event Registration, Training Assistance, Training Shirt/Race Shirt, Team Pasta Dinner, Lots of FUN!
1/2 Marathon, 7:15am start
5K Fun Run, 7:30am start

Look Good…Feel Better
Third Monday of the month at 1pm (January, March, May, July, September, November) and at 5pm (February, April, June, August, October, December)
This program which is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, NC and CFTA Foundation, teaches skin care and hair care techniques for women undergoing cancer treatment.
Meditation for Relaxation
First and Third Thursday of the month at 5pm
Clare Wilson invites you to experience the health benefits of meditation and how it reduces stress and enhances breathing, focus and relaxation.
Nanticoke General Support Group
Third Monday of the month at 3:30pm
A forum for cancer survivors and their loved ones to share and discuss their cancer diagnosis. This group is facilitated by Clare Wilson, LCSW.
Stiff Men's Yoga
Thursdays at 3:30pm
For any guy who wants to increase his energy and mobility. Taught by Reber Whitner.
T'ai Chi
Thursdays at 11:45am
Integrate mind, body and spirit using techniques developed by the ancient Chinese. You feel revitalized by T'ai Chi's relaxing, rhythmic movements. Classes are open only to people currently undergoing treatment for cancer and their family members and individuals two years out of treatment or less.
The New You!
First and Third Wednesday of the month at 5 pm
Join our survivors support group which meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5 pm. The New You! is faciliatated by Clare Wilson and addresses the ongoing needs of cancer survivors.
The Next Step
Second Tuesday of the month at 9am and 3rd Tuesday at 10am (Nanticoke)
Our monthly bereavement group focuses on issues of loss that continue beyond the early stages of grief. Facilitated by Mary Van House, Bereavement Coordinator, Compassionate Care Hospice.
Yoga
Wednesdays at 12:00pm
Increase your flexibility and strength, reduce stress, and enhance relaxation using gentle Yoga techniques. This is a perfect class for beginners! Classes are open only to people currently undergoing treatment for cancer and their family members and individuals two years out of treatment or less.
Zumba for Fun
Mondays at 12:15 pm
Make Zumba for Fun! part of your weekly journey to better health. This movement class, instructed by Stacy Fulton, is designed to be approachable for everyone regardless of your fitness level. Enjoy the easy-to-follow moves to great music. The intention of this class is to move a little and have a lot of fun...even if you don't perform each move perfectly.
